INTACT GENOMICS INC IG C43(DE3) Chemically Competent Cells 6x50µl
Intact Genomics (IG®) C43(DE3) Chemically Competent Cells are optimized for toxic and difficult protein expression using IPTG-inducible T7 promoter vectors. This BL21(DE3) mutant strain was selected from C41(DE3) survivor cells that overexpressed toxic subunit b of E. coli F-ATPase. C43(DE3) has mutations to prevent cell death during recombinant protein expression and effectively expresses toxic proteins from diverse organisms. Performance is patent-validated and supported by numerous publications.

Intact Genomics (IG™) Recombineering Chemically Competent Cells enable high-efficiency transformation for DNA, plasmid, and BAC engineering, and homologous recombination. Derived from SW102 (a DH10B background strain), they feature a defective lambda prophage and a galK deletion for efficient DNA/BAC modification via galK positive/negative selection. The cells are tetracycline resistant (5 μg/mL).
